Recently BookKids (started by United member Debbie Maloney) teamed up with Communities in Schools (started in the 1990’s as a partnership between United Church and Salazar Elementary School, with the leadership of United’s Vickie Sewing, Georgia and Bill Carson) to distribute thousands of free books for children throughout Santa Fe Public Schools. For over 30 years, the United Church of Santa Fe has been making a difference in the lives of Santa Fe school children!
