Ensuring United's Future!
Over the last several month, the United Church has received a number of gifts to the Endowment Fund. They have grown the Fund from its initial $75,000 to $330,000. We're well on the way to the goal of $1 million!
Interest from the Endowment Fund helps fund United's ministries of music, youth, and outreach-now and into the future.
The gifts we've received range from $1000 to $100,000. Some are in memory of loved ones. Others simply in gratitude for the church. Some gifts were cash; others as a "planned gift" annuity. In addition a number of friends and members have already put the United Church of Santa Fe in their wills.
If you would like more information on the Endowment Fund-or would like to make a gift or pledge-we would be more than happy to talk with you! Please contact anyone of us on the Endowment Committee. Thank you for your generosity and commitment!

Q: Want to give thanks to God and deepen your faith?
How has God blessed you? How can you share those blessings with others?
Those are two fundamental questions of faith.
At United, many of us find that committed giving of our financial resources is an essential spiritual discipline, one that deepens our faith in God as it also helps others.
Q: Why pledge?
First and foremost, pledging to your faith community is an expression of your hope for our ministry together.
Second, pledging also allows United to plan for the year ahead, so we can create a budget that empowers us to do the things God calls us to do.
The United Church is almost wholly sustained by the yearly pledges of members and friends. Without such generosity, our ministries of worship, education, outreach and welcoming wouldn't happen. But with this generosity, the United Church continues to grow, sharing the life-giving power of God's love with an ever-wider circle.
Q: Are there other ways to give?
Yes! One-time gifts often help fund special programs. You can make them in honor of someone important to you - or in memory of someone who has blessed your life.
United has several special funds that provide for needs and programs beyond the yearly budget (eg., Music, Landscaping, Education, Outreach, Children and Youth). Please consult with the Senior Minister to discern how best to make an honorary or memorial gift.
Many of our Endowments began with bequests from the estates of members and friends. Remembering the United Church in your will leaves a lasting legacy, one that offers God’s love through the United Church to future generations. The Endowment Team would be glad to speak with you about this important way of giving.
Above all, know that whatever you decide to give, your pledge, bequest, or special gift will be well used in support of United’s ministry in this world, now and in years to come.
“You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity,
which will produce thanksgiving to God through us. Thanks be to God!”
