Youth programming at United seeks to equip young people with the tools they need to make ethical decisions and build a relationship with God. Whether you are 11 years old, preparing for the trials of middle school; or 17 years old, looking toward life beyond high school, faith is an important aspect of your identity.

Youth programming includes:

  • Engaging Questions
  • Service Opportunities
  • Faith Development
  • Community Building

The Young Adventurers (5th and 6th Grade) engage in fun and faithful programming. They meet each Sunday during the 11:00 Worship Service and for other activities during the week. (Bruce Turnquist,

The GAP Youth (7th and 8th Grade) meets each Sunday at 9:45 am. They also gather for volunteering, retreats, movie nights and game nights. GAP stands for “Great Adventure Preparation”. Our 7th and 8th graders are taking a year to get ready for their “Initiation to Adulthood” program that starts next fall. (Rebecca Crutchfield,

The High School Youth Group (9th-12th Grade) meets once a month for pizza and conversation, while looking at other opportunities to get together and engage questions of faith.
